Blue Ridge Surgery Center was opened in 1985 on Blue Ridge Road with four operating rooms.  Over the ensuing years the facility moved to its current location and grew from four operating rooms to six operating rooms with a minor procedure room and occupies 13,000 sq. feet.  The expansion allowed for pain management cases and an increased volume of orthopaedic cases.
